Legacy Software + AI

Add AI to old business software without replacing it.

We build safe AI tools around the ERPs, CRMs, databases,
portals, and custom apps your team already uses.

Chat with the founder. Leave with a plan.

The system still works. The work around it does not.

Your ERP, CRM, database, or portal may still be doing its job. The drag is the manual searching, copying, summarizing, report chasing, and repeated questions around it.

  • Searching through old screens
  • Copying data by hand
  • Waiting on reports
  • Rebuilding context before every call
  • Answering the same internal questions

Most software projects don't fail because of the code.

Industry studies show that roughly two-thirds of custom software projects fail. The failures are almost never technical — they happen because the project solved the wrong problem, or solved the right one in a way that didn't fit how the business actually worked. That's why, at Creative Dynamic, we focus intensely on solving the problem the right way the first time.

AI integration is no different. The first conversation is about two things at once: whether AI can solve your problem, and whether it can solve it in the way your business actually needs.

The core concepts

Read the right data

API, database, export, report, or approved access path.

Keep people in control

Human review, approvals, and audit trails stay in the workflow.

Start small

One workflow first. Expand only if it saves real time.

Examples

Manufacturing ERP

Search orders, inventory, and customer history.

Useful when status lookups eat the day.

Dispatch platform

Draft answers for dispatch, drivers, or support.

Useful when: the same operational questions keep interrupting the team.

Claims or service system

Draft summaries, notes, and handoffs.

Useful when copy-and-paste work slows everything down.

Reporting database

Ask for common reports in plain English.

Useful when managers wait too long for answers.

CRM or customer portal

Summarize account history before a call.

Useful when people spend too long rebuilding context.

Good fit if you have...

  • An old ERP, CRM, database, portal, or custom internal tool
  • A workflow that slows people down every week
  • Repetitive searching, copying, summarizing, or reporting
  • A system that would be expensive or risky to replace
  • Budget for a serious first project

Not sure you qualify? That's exactly what the chat is for — start a conversation and we'll figure out together whether there's a fit.

How the first project works

1

Pick one workflow

Quick answers

Who is Sarah?

Sarah is our trained AI consultant — available when Jon isn't at his desk, or if you'd prefer to start with AI before talking to a human. She'll ask about your system and sketch a possible first AI project.

Is this a chatbot?

Not usually. A chatbot may be the interface, but the real work is connecting AI safely to existing business data, workflows, approvals, and human review.

Will it break my live system?

No. The first project runs beside the core app. Read-only access is preferred where possible.

What data access do we need?

Usually an API, database, export, report, or approved access path. If access is limited, the first project may need to start smaller.

How fast can I see something working?

A focused first version usually takes 4–8 weeks. A smaller prototype may come sooner if the workflow and access are clear.

What if AI is not worth adding?

Then we should stop there. The first review is meant to find a practical workflow, not force AI where it does not belong.

What's the investment look like?

It depends on the workflow, the data access, and how much review and approval the first version needs. The honest answer comes out of a short conversation — start a chat and we'll talk through what a focused first project would actually involve.

Want to know if your old system is a good AI candidate?

The fastest way to find out is a quick chat — Jon's on live during the day, and Sarah can start any time.
